In November 2025, history was made in the heart of Đakovo – the monumental Cathedral of St. Peter was cleaned from the air for the very first time using an industrial drone. The facade of this neo-Romanesque masterpiece, whose towers rise an impressive 84 meters high, had previously relied on fire ladders and human endurance. But now, it was cleaned faster, safer, and more efficiently – thanks to the DroNova system.
The industrial drone, equipped with a high-pressure nozzle and hose connected to a mobile unit, precisely removed dirt from the cathedral’s facade, all under the watchful eye of conservators, the archbishop, and curious citizens. This technologically advanced method not only replaced ladders and scaffolding but also enabled detailed and controlled cleaning without any risk to people – or to the cultural monument itself.
Using drones for such tasks – from facades and bell towers to hard-to-reach surfaces – saves time and costs, while ensuring maximum precision. The DroNova N01 and CoreStation C01 & C02 proved to be the perfect duo for this historic operation.
