Osijek Drone Expo 2026 clearly showed how quickly the conversation around drones is changing. They are no longer seen only as an exciting technology, a hobby, or something that belongs to the future. Drones are becoming practical tools that already solve real operational challenges in agriculture, industry, energy, building maintenance and high-altitude work.
At this year’s event at the Osijek Economic Centre, DroNova presented its drone cleaning system through a live demonstration in real conditions. Visitors had the opportunity to see drone facade cleaning in action and understand how this technology can provide a safer, more efficient and more modern approach to work at height – without scaffolding, lifting platforms or unnecessary risk for people.
The event was also strengthened by the presence of institutional representatives, including Minister David Vlajčić, who emphasized the importance of developing guidelines for the responsible use of drones, especially in agriculture. This is one of the key directions for the entire industry: enabling broader adoption of new technologies, while ensuring clear rules, safety and responsible operation. Drones are advanced and highly versatile machines, but they are not toys – their real value comes through knowledge, professional training and carefully planned operations.
Osijek Drone Expo brought together participants from Croatia and neighboring countries, creating a space for discussing the use of unmanned aircraft systems across different sectors. For DroNova, the event was both an opportunity to present its technology and a confirmation of the direction in which the market is moving. Industries are increasingly looking for solutions that reduce risk, speed up work processes and provide access to surfaces and locations that were previously difficult, expensive or dangerous to maintain.
